How it works
The whole thing, for travelers and for hosts, in a few steps.
For travelers
- 1SearchPick a city and your dates. Filter by price, type of place, or what it has: wifi, a generator, parking.
- 2Choose your dates on the calendarDates already taken are crossed out and cannot be picked. What you see is live.
- 3See the full priceNights, cleaning fee and our service fee, all before you commit, in your own currency.
- 4PayVisa or Mastercard. Your dates are held while you pay, and released if you do not.
- 5Get the addressOnce the payment goes through, the exact address and the host's details appear on your booking.
- 6Stay, then reviewAfter your stay you can leave a review, and so can your host.
For hosts
- 1Create a host accountHosting uses its own account, separate from a traveler one. It costs nothing to start.
- 2Describe your placeThe basics, the address, what it has, your price in your own currency, and your house rules.
- 3Add photographsAt least three. They are what people decide on.
- 4Send it for reviewOur team checks it, usually within a day, and tells you if anything needs changing.
- 5Take bookingsClose any dates you cannot host. Guests pay us up front, so you know before they arrive that the money is there.
- 6Get paidConfirm the guest has arrived, and your payout is queued. We send it to your mobile money or bank account.
What it costs
- Travelers pay a service fee of 8%, shown before you pay.
- Hosts keep the price they set, less a 3% commission.
- Listing a place is free. We earn nothing until someone stays.
